Andy leads the European team of Invesco Real Estate spanning five European offices covering the European real estate markets. He has over 18 years’ extensive fund management experience for both UK and overseas institutional clients, broad real estate transaction experience across all sectors and capital markets experience in debt raising and pooled funds.
Prior to joining Invesco, Andy was a Director at Aberdeen Property Investors and an Associate Partner at Gerald Eve. Andy’s professional and educational experience includes a BSc from Exeter University and Membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and the Investment Property Forum.
Andy was appointed Managing Director of the European operations in October 2006.

Doris Pittlinger
Head of Fund Management: Europe

Doris Pittlinger joined us in 1991 and has 19 years' experience in cross-border real estate investment management in Europe. She has been active in the Central European and Moscow markets for many years and has extensive and varied asset management experience. Prior to joining the team, Doris was an asset manager for international clients at Müller International Group. Her professional and educational qualifications include Immobilienfachwirtin, Immobilienökonom ebs and she is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
Doris became Head of Fund Management Europe for INVESCO Real Estate in November 2006.

Simon Redman
Head of Business Development
|
Simon Redman is head of business development for Invesco Real Estate with responsibility for product development, debt structuring, client servicing and marketing. Prior to joining the firm he was a board director of RREEF Limited, head of business development and an investment committee member of its multi-manager business. At RREEF he was involved with the successful launch and capital raise of real estate funds including a value added fund, two real estate securities fund ranges and RREEF's first absolute return structured product. Before leaving, he spearheaded the development of RREEF's Europe and Middle East private client business. Simon also worked for Aberdeen Property Investors where he was responsible for developing new funds and debt structuring. He was on the board of the Regent Residential Partnership. Prior Aberdeen, Simon assisted in developing Grosvenor's fund management business through structuring and launching new funds. He was also appointed Fund Manger of Grosvenor's two largest funds. The early part of Simon's career was spent in private practice advising on real estate leasing, investment and development.
He is a chartered surveyor, holds a Land Management Degree and has an MBA from the John Cass Business school specialising in corporate finance and international business.

Jochen Dietrich Schäfer-Surén
Head of Hotels and Leisure Fund Management

Jochen joined Invesco Real Estate in September 2000. As Head of Hotels and Leisure Fund Management he is responsible for this sector at Invesco Real Estate he manages the Invesco European Hotel Real Estate Fund, which was launched in September 2006 with total capital of about €900m and also responsible for managing separate accounts such as Generali France's hotel mandate with €300m of capital. Jochen is also a member of Invesco Real Estate European executive committee.
Jochen has 21 years of experience in real estate development, merger and acquisitions as well as investment banking and financing within the hotel and leisure sector. Jochen started his career as Vice President Development at Meridien Hotels in New York and Paris with responsibility for hotel development and acquisitions in the US, Europe and Latin America followed by various senior development positions at Hilton Hotels and Trusthouse Forte Plc and as advisor to the board of Club Med World SA. Before joining Invesco he was in charge of merger and acquisitions in hotel real estate for the investment bank Lazard, London. He has been involved in hotel transactions and financings worth over €3.5 billion. Jochen is member of Invesco Real Estate’s European Executive Committee and Investment Committee and on behalf of Generali a member of the Strategy Committee of Fonciere des Murs, a French Hotel Real Investment Trust in Paris, France. He holds a law degree from the University of Heidelberg, Germany, and a Masters in Hotel Business Administration from Cornell University, New York. He is fluent in German, French and English.

Paul Joubert
Head of European Transactions

Paul joined Invesco Real Estate in 2004 and has over 17 years' experience of acquisitions, structuring, finance and development.
Before joining Invesco, Paul worked as a senior asset manager at AWON and as a financial analyst at Franconor. Paul has an MBA in International Finance and an Architecture degree from Beaux Arts - Paris La seine.
Paul is the head of Invesco Real Estate's French office and works closely with the company's team of portfolio managers, asset managers and research department to formulate cross-border property investment strategies for clients. In addition, he creates and maintains comprehensive contacts in the relevant investment markets so as to be able to efficiently source suitable investments for clients' programmes and create new business, wherever possible.
